Thanksgiving Food Drive

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Thanksgiving is a great time to fight poverty with food.

What is it?

A canned food collection throughout the month of November in which individuals, families, churches, businesses, and organizations can host a food collection and donate food items toward it. Food will be dropped off at the Evansville Christian Life Center and then distributed through our Food Co-op!

How does this make a difference?
It’s our mission to restore people from need to potential. We offer a variety of ministries all designed to lead people on a path toward their potential. The Food Co-op serves a major role in helping those on their journey out of poverty to bridge the gap between assistance and self-sufficiency.* The Thanksgiving Food Drop helps supply this program.

Join the Food Drop!
You can take part by hosting a food collection at your home, church, work, organization, or anywhere you can imagine!

What about those looking for meals on Thanksgiving?
It’s our goal to focus on what we do best and to partner with others in the community who offer additional services. There are other groups and organizations who currently provide Thanksgiving meals and meet this need in our community. We work to connect those looking for Thanksgiving meals to these groups and organizations.

*The Food Co-op also partners with select local organizations on a limited basis.
