Our story.

People in Evansville struggle with financial, educational, relational, emotional, or spiritual barriers, causing adverse effects on their lives and those around them.

The Evansville Christian Life Center was formed over 30 years ago to help those struggling to get ahead and stay ahead. When a nearly 100-year-old monastery building was given to Bethel Church in 1986, our work of restoring people from need to potential in Christ began.

This work has grown to include hundreds of area churches, businesses, organizations, and thousands of individuals (like you!) who join together as volunteers, donors, clients, and staff to strengthen families with a stronger foundation.

Many who go through these services move forward and then make a difference in the lives around them.
